Zero Waste Week raises awareness about reducing the waste that goes to landfill and started on 5th September. All you need to do is visit the Zero Waste Week website and make a pledge, just like Zoe at Eco Thrifty Living who has pledged to create a use it up meal plan. And if you?re looking for ideas for your pledge read Jane at Maflingo?s post 10 tips to reduce food waste & save money.

In fact, many of you have been thinking about waste during the last month. The posts cover a number of different perspectives so make an interesting read:

I hope these posts inspire you to reduce your waste. If so please leave a comment on the blog post to encourage the blogger to keep sharing their environmental posts. And a bonus post from A Green and Rosie Life because water efficiency is my favourite environmental topic so I have to mention her post 7 Garden Watering Tips.

Please send me links to your environmental posts for the next round-up via my blog or tweet me @katedavis. Let me know if you have questions about the environment so I can answer them in a future post.
